We are planning to re-open the hall for regular users from 1st September this is under strict distancing rules and regulations.
We have decided not to open for private bookings at the moment until government and the church regulations are relaxed as we cannot police social distancing rules.
We will pop a note on here with updated rules as and when we have more news and info.
The St John's Community Hall was officially opened on the 12th September 2010 after three months of renovating and more than 40 years of fundraising.
The Community Hall consists of a bright, comfort cooled main hall with stage and ample seating (120 persons) and an integral kitchen with hatch to the main hall. Large and small tables can be made available. There are fully equipped toilets including a toilet for the disabled (which includes baby changing facility) The hall possess wide
The Community Hall consists of a bright, comfort cooled main hall with stage and ample seating (120 persons) and an integral kitchen with hatch to the main hall. Large and small tables can be made available. There are fully equipped toilets including a toilet for the disabled (which includes baby changing facility) The hall possess wide door and full ramp access. Upstairs is a smaller hall, called the 'Morris Chapman Room' – complete with kitchenette and piano and at the bottom of the stairs is a waiting room with chairs. The Morris Chapman Room can hold up to 30 people.
A Hall Management Committee governs the hall bookings to ensure the hall is lovingly cared for.
