How can I help ??
Ways to Help
There are a few ways you can help at St John's:
Volunteer
We are always grateful for volunteers. If you think you are able to help with any of the following please speak to the Revd Younis or one of the church wardens and they will point you in the right direction of who you need to speak to:
- Refreshments on a Sunday after the service
We have a coffee rota and ask if people would help set up and serve the coffee every Sunday morning after the service.
- Welcomers and Sidespeople
If you think you would like to welcome people to services, show them to seats and help giving out booklets etc we are always grateful for an extra pair of hands.
- Church Cleaning
Keep an eye out for our notices we do a spring clean and an Autumn Clean and pop your name on the list at the back of the church to help out.
- Flower arranging
We have a team of flower arrangers who work on a rota system to keep our church looking great. If you think you could lend a hand let us know.
- Gardening
Once a month the gardening volunteers meet to tidy up the church gardens. All we ask is people bring their own tools and lend a hand.
