Selsdon Contact is a neighbourhood care organisation that provides practical help, advice, support and information to the local community. It is made possible by a dedicated network of volunteers and we are always looking for new people to help the scheme or people to whom we can offer assistance, so please get in touch with us. Contact has two part time workers and a network of nearly 300 volunteers. The administrative work is done in Contact’s office on the lower ground floor in Selsdon Community Centre below Sainsbury’s. We respond to the needs of the local community by helping with transport, shopping, visiting, information and advice, equipment loan and practical help as well as offering social events. Contact is a member of Croydon Neighbourhood care Association (CNCA) which supports and promotes neighbourhood care within the borough of Croydon. The Salvation Army runs 'The Vine' foodbank in New Addington. This is located down the lane between
